Dana Vong

My subject matters tend to flow towards my human experience and what I hold dear. Passion is what drives me to meet the lack of serotonin and dopamine my brain produces. My first semester at UNH, I broke my ankle long boarding and I had to use crutches for 6 months. Isolated in my dorm room, I thought about how feet give you the privilege of mobility. Although, my latest work has been expressing my experience with the pandemic. With social distancing and lack of human touch, my body has been craving oxytocin. Every human needs affection, love, and socialization. Without it, our mental health deteriorates.
